Annual End-of-Year Showcase

At Project Dance Center we celebrate the end of our season together as a dance family to showcase the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our performers. This very special event takes place once a year at the historic and majestic Palace Theater in Waterbury, CT. PDC strives to make the Annual Showcase a wonderful experience for everyone involved, audience members included!

Annual Showcase 101

Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, the Palace Theater has set the stage for influential and distinguished performers for over a century. A professional theater which has hosted acts from Harry Houdini to Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett, it is also a frequent stop on many current Broadway tours.

At PDC, we teach our students to recognize and celebrate the greatness within themselves. And we believe they deserve a stage that matches that greatness. Whether our students dance recreationally or competitively, Project Dance Center is committed to providing extraordinary opportunity for all.

A showcase fee is required for all performers participating in the Annual Showcase. Fee structure is based on students per family. A family with 1 student is responsible for a $45 showcase fee. Families with 2 students are responsible for an $80 fee, and families with 3 students are responsible for a $110 fee.

This fee assists with covering the costs of the showcase venue, the photographer and videographer, as well as the dancers' personalized showcase tee shirt.

The Showcase Fee is posted to the parent portal and due in March.

As a reminder, for dancers in our Primary Programs, yearly tuition does not include the Showcase Fee.

Students not participating in the Annual Showcase are not responsible for the showcase fee.

Each class, with the exception of all Extend & Tech programs, participate in our End of Year Showcase. Therefore, a Showcase Costume Fee will be due for each class a dancer takes. The Showcase Costume Fees will be posted to the parent portal and due by November 15.*

Each costume is $85.00.

*Families who wish to opt out of the Showcase are responsible for notifying Project Dance Center as per our policies and procedures.
