Policies and Procedures
Creative Movement - Leotard of choice (creativity encouraged!), pink tights, pink ballet slippers.
Combo Classes - Black or Pink Leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers, black tap shoes, black jazz shoes.
Ballet I/II/III/Extend & Tech - Black Leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers (preferably split sole). HAIR IN A BUN.
Acro/Jazz Funk/Lyrical/Choreography Classes - Black, white, or teal form fitting attire, NO BAGGY CLOTHING.
For shoe specification, please see your instructor.
* Hair must be neatly pulled back at all times.
* No jewelry is allowed in any class, except stud earrings.
Recital and Competition costume fees are due no later than October 1. No returns or exchanges are permitted.
Each student is responsible for a $40 Recital Fee which covers venue and recital tee shirt. Due March 1.
Any costumer exchange is subject to a $10.00 shipping exchange fee.
* Extend & Tech classes, Adult classes, and Basic Teen Dance will not require a costume.
PDC will make weather closing decisions by 1:00pm and email families as well as posting to our Instagram and Facebook accounts. We will do our very best to make the safest decisions for everyone.
Students will be allowed to make up their class by choosing any class of their choice as a make-up.
BEHAVIOR AND RESPECT
PDC strives to be a safe and enjoyable atmosphere to each student and family. We encourage diversity and expect our students to show respect and kindness at all times.
Bullying will not be tolerated.
Students are expected to show respect to all teachers and faculty at PDC.
When at competitions or performances, students are encouraged to show support to EVERYONE. Good sportsmanship is mandatory.
Cell phones must be left in bags or in the Dance Den during class times.

Students are expected to arrive 5 minutes before their class begins. Please call or e-mail if your child will miss class for the day.
